Does Non Surgical Face Lift Really Work?
Has your skin started to age? Are you bothered with your facial lines and wrinkles? If you are considering a face lift or a non surgical face lift, then this article is just for you.
I remember the first time I noticed the signs of aging and the skin damages over my face. It was after I saw a video and some photographs of myself at my son’s Bar Mitzvah. I looked old. The skin around my chin and neck wasn’t as tight as it used to be. People would often ask if I was tired, and I wanted to look as young as I felt inside. For me, it became unbearable to even look in the mirror.
As you probably know, a face lift surgery (also known as rhytidectomy) is a surgical procedure to improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck. A face lift is performed by placing an incision along the hairline and around the ears. The plastic surgeon then “lifts” the skin into the hairline. The cost of an average face lift surgery is upwards of $11,000 USD, and sometimes a lot more.
You should know, that a facelift cannot stop the aging process, and in some cases there are infections and complications. It also takes up to six months to fully recover from it. The scars may take even longer to heal.
Since I was intimidated by the surgical process, I started to look around for face lift alternatives. I have read tons of material, on-line and off, and discovered that there are many non-surgical face lift alternatives. Many of these alternatives have several advantages over the surgical facelift, such as lower prices, shorter time required for recovery, and a lot less risk involved. For the vast majority of people, a non surgical facelift will be the better choice.
Here are the most popular non surgical face lifts treatments:
Thermage

Non Surgical Face Lift Treatment
Thermage is a very popular treatment that uses radio waves to reduce wrinkles and enhance skin tightening without surgery. An extensive research I have been doing online, revealed that almost two thirds of people report that this treatment was painful and they didn’t like the results. the total score for Thermage was “not worth it“. The average cost for this procedure is $3,500 USD. This information could have helped me six years ago, when I’ve had my first Thermage treatment (full coverage of it, soon).
Microcurrent face lift
Microcurrent face lift (Bio-ultimate) is a non invasive spacial technique to rejuvenate the skin by using electric currents. This method of applying electromagnetic fields to the skin tissue gives the benefits of acupuncture treatment with the obvious absence of needles. Microcurrent can improve facial circulation, reduce and eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, but don’t expect much more than that, as the results are quite superficial. Every treatment takes about an hour and it’s recommended to have approximately twelve treatment sessions. The average cost for those twelve treatments is $2,000 USD.
ThreadLift
ThreadLift is a surgical procedure, also known as ‘lunchtime lift‘ or ‘weekend lift‘. It may be considered as “non surgical” by some doctors, but it is. In this skin tightening cosmetic procedure, a hollow needle is being passed through the skin by a cosmetic surgeon. Although threadlift is associated with less complications than surgical face-lifts, there are some cases in which the threads broke and the patient had to endure a second procedure. An online research I’ve made came up with 90% of the people who had threadlift, report that it was painful and they were “not satisfied with the results”. The average cost of theadlift is $5,000 USD.
Laser Face Lift
A laser face lift uses a beam of concentrated light that is powerful enough to heat the skin’s facial surface. Laser face lifts are cosmetic procedures, and although they are considered as non surgical, there are some risks involved. Pay attention, that laser treatment is not recommended for those who have darker skin tones because of the greater risk of skin pigmentation issues. Although the laser facelift treatment may minimize the appearance of lines in wrinkle, it does not “lift” the face. In a matter of fact, it is actually a laser resurfacing. After a laser face treatment, exposure to the sun should be avoided for up to six months. Possible complications include infections, permanent discoloration and scarring. The average cost for laser face resurfacing is $3,000 USD.
Natural Alternatives
Natural face lift products include various creams, masks, liquid face lifts, facial exercises (to improve the facial flex and the facial muscles), and a whole range of skin care products. Some of these products offer an effect of lifting and skin tightening, but it’s only temporary. Most of those products contain a highly concentrated solutions of amino acids (like acetycholine hexapeptide and alpha hydroxy acid) that supposedly transmit nerve impulses to the muscles, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. I have tried several creams and masks, but found most of them to be ineffective. They sure felt nice and smelled good, but any visible effects were nothing like the before & after photos…
The Ultimate Solution
In order to achieve the best solution, you need to understand the causes to our skin aging. The most common cause is the reduction of the Elastin and Collagen fibers. Around the age of 20, our body reduces the production levels of skin fibers called Elastin and Collagen, and our skin starts to sag. That’s where a unique ingredient called Ethocyn comes in. A recent clinical study conducted by UCLA school of medicine, proved that after only 60 days of using Ethocyn, twice a day, the skin’s Elastin levels were the same as in a 20 year old skin! This ingredient is the most powerful among all other lotions, creams and masks.
Ethocyn is the only ingredient that actually restores the Elasin levels, and can improve the firmness and the elasticity of the skin. The only available product that I found to contain Ethocyn is called Tru-Face Essence Ultra. This product cannot be purchased at stores (not even in specialty drugstores) and can only be obtained from a certified distributor.
I have found one such distributor here. I have been using Tru-Face for six months, and experienced tremendous results. This is by far better than any face lift cream I have ever tried. You can read a full review of Ethocyn here, with media clips, testimonials and more.
